7 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon heads into the All-Star break as one of the league’s most effective sixth men. Gordon is averaging 18.5 points per contest this season, his highest since the 2011-2012 season. Gordon started off the season hot, averaging 24.9 points per game in October while filling in as a starter for the injured guard Chris Paul and also played well while guard James Harden missed some time with a groin injury. Though he has slowed down a bit and is inconsistent at times, notably with his shooting from deep, his fantasy outlook is promising, as he will see plenty of minutes off of the bench for a team that usually plays seven or eight players deep per game. Also, with Paul’s history of injuries and the occasional rest periods for the aging veteran, Gordon could still see a healthy amount of starts in the remaining months ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
