Eric Saubert Making The Jump In Year Two
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Eric Saubert is "definitely making the jump from year one to year two," according to head coach Dan Quinn. Saubert is competing with Logan Paulsen for the second tight end spot, behind Austin Hooper. Despite being active for 14 games last year, Saubert did not register a single reception in his rookie year. However, Saubert led the Falcons tight ends in receptions in the first preseason game, grabbing two catches for 15 yards. At this point Saubert has no fantasy value, but if he claims the number two spot he may be worth a stash in extremely deep leagues in case anything happens to Hooper.
