E'Twaun Moore Delivers 21-Point Effort In Loss
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans shooting guard E'Twaun Moore seemingly resuscitated his offensive game Saturday versus the Houston Rockets, finishing with 21 points and a season-high seven rebounds. Prior to Saturday, Moore hadn’t eclipsed the 20-point mark since Nov. 21, entering the contest on the heels of back-to-back two-point efforts. With New Orleans desperate to find a fourth scorer, Moore fired up 19 shots from the field, making nine, including three from deep. He remains a dicey play due to his offensive volatility, but he has three 30-point games to his credit this season, so the ability is there. Pelicans not named Moore, Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday and Julius Randle went for just 18 points Saturday, so Moore may be asked to continue shouldering the load as long as it’s all hands on deck.
