Evan Fournier Drills Five Threes In Loss
7 years agoOrlando Magic guard/forward Evan Fournier tied a team high, scoring 19 points in a loss to Oklahoma City on Monday. Fournier went 5-for-9 from distance and 6-for-15 overall. It was his seventh out of eight games scoring over 16 points and converting multiple threes. Fournier has been relatively consistent as of late, attempting between 12 to 15 shots a game the last 10 outings. It's the first time he's made over three threes during that same stretch, however. Those numbers seem to indicate the returns of Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic have not affected Fournier's output, and he should be viewed no differently with a healthy roster. Fournier is who he is, and fantasy owners should expect that for the remainder of the season. Orlando hosts Toronto on Wednesday. The Raptors give up the least amount of three-pointers made in the NBA. Tread carefully in this one.
