Evan Fournier Has Another Tepid Night
7 years agoOrlando Magic guard/forward Evan Fournier scored just 13 points in a win over Miami on Monday. Fournier just didn't seem really engaged in this one. He shot 6-for-13 from the field and an anemic 1-for-4 from three. He did not attempt a free throw. This is Fournier's second consecutive below-average game and with the trade-deadline looming, Fournier seems to be in no-man's land. Aaron Gordon has not played the last four games, yet Fournier has not capitalized. He is averaging 13.7 points during that time span, well below his 17.9 points per game yearly average. The Magic take on Cleveland tomorrow who give up a ton of points. Maybe the Cavs are the elixir to get Fournier off his little slump.
