Evan Fournier Set To Miss At Least One Week
4 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard/small forward Evan Fournier has re-entered the league's health and safety protocols, ruling him out not only for Tuesday's game versus Philadelphia, but for at least the remainder of the week, per head coach Brad Stevens. Fournier's 2020-21 season has been torpedoed by injuries and other assorted maladies, limiting him to 30 games, just four of which have come with the Celtics. After having been a full-time starter over the majority of the past five seasons, Fournier has shifted to a bench role upon his acquisition by Boston, seeing his scoring average dip to 11.5 PPG. Aaron Nesmith and Semi Ojeleye stand to benefit from additional scoring opportunities on the wing with the second unit, although neither has relevant fantasy appeal at this stage.
