Evan Fournier's Ankle is "Sensitive" After Loss to Indiana
7 years agoOrlando Magic guard/forward Evan Fournier (ankle) scored 21 points with three threes in a loss to Indiana on Saturday. Fournier shot 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-6 from three, but the main talk was about Fournier and his ankle. With the Magic holding an 18-point lead in the third quarter, Fournier drained a three but landed on Victor Oladipo's foot on his way down, rolling his ankle. He was able to finish the game, but there is cause for concern. Fournier has dealt with ankle issues this season and when asked after the game said his ankle was "a bit sensitive." Add his ankle and the talk of being dealt before the deadline, and there is a lot up in the air with Fournier's future. Fantasy owners will have to just grit their teeth and hope for the best moving forward. The Magic have a couple days off before visiting Houston.
