3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (hamstring) is making his return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against left-hander Kris Bubic and the Kansas City Royals. He'll be slotting in as designated hitter and batting fifth in the game. Longoria has been dealing with hamstring tightness lately. He was held out of the starting lineup for each of the last three games, but he did appear as a pinch-hitter in two of the three contests.
