3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (hand) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A last week. On Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reported a potential timeline for Longoria's return to the majors. Longoria stated that his hand is feeling good enough to return to the Giants "within three or four days." The 36-year-old had surgery on his finger in March. He figures to be a key member of the Giants' offense once he's back in the majors.
