2 years agoThe San Francisco Giants placed third baseman Evan Longoria (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain on Sunday. Longoria was removed from Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to the injury. After the contest, Giants manager Gabe Kapler stated that Longoria was likely IL-bound, so Sunday's move comes with little surprise. The oft-injured veteran has been held to just 49 games this year due to various injuries.
