5 years agoThe Detroit Red Wings ended a 12-game losing streak on Thursday by defeating the Jets 5-2. It was the team's first five-goal game since their first game of the year. Right wing Filip Zadina and defenseman Filip Hronek were both productive in the game, recording a goal and two assists each. Zadina's goal was his first NHL goal of the year and the game came right after he was called up from Grand Rapids after a brief demotion. Hronek, meanwhile, now has seven goals on the year to lead all Detroit defenseman. Zadina isn't particularly intriguing for fantasy purposes at this point, but Hronek is proving to have some value as a defenseman with goal-scoring abilities. --Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
