Francesco Molinari Suffers Difficult Week At East Lake
6 years agoFrancesco Molinari endured a tough four days at the Tour Championship last week. The Italian struggled to a total of one-over par which was only good enough for a T21 finish. Molinari’s often strong ball striking was missing at East Lake, with the Italian losing 4.5 strokes to the field with his irons over the four days. It was Molinari's worst performance with his irons on the PGA Tour for his approach play since the Honda Classic back in 2015. Molinari will hope his ball striking returns this week at the Ryder Cup.
