3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Franchy Cordero was the hero in the team's 8-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. Coming up to bat with two outs and the bases loaded in the 10th inning of a 4-4 tie, Cordero launched his first home run of the year. It was a walk-off grand slam, completing the team's four-game sweep of the Mariners. The homer was Cordero's only hit of the day as he went 1-for-5.
