4 years agoOrlando Magic point guard Frank Mason III (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus Phoenix due to a strained right groin. Mason made one start since joining the squad as backcourt depth but recent injury to Cole Anthony (shoulder) has thrust him into a larger role when healthy. With both Mason and Anthony sidelined, Michael Carter-Williams has taken on starting PG duties. Until Mason can prove to be healthy, and to garner a significant minutes total, he is best left to the waiver wire in all season-long formats. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday against the Knicks.--Jesse Borek
