6 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred Vanvleet kept the hot hand going on Thursday as he scored 15 points in the nine-point win over the Warriors. VanVleet connected on 5-for-8 shooting with a make from three while adding two assists with a rebound and was a plus-8 across 33 minutes. Which the much smaller lineups of the Warriors, VanVleet was able to rely on more than just threes as he was able to attack the basket throughout the night. VanVleet was also possibly the best defender on Stephen Curry when he was on the floor. He is averaging 15.8 points over his previous four games and if his price tag is still friendly, he is worth a look for Game 2.--Gianni Costantiello
