5 years agoToronto Raptors point/shooting guard Fred Vanvleet had the green light to fire at will from long range during Friday’s win over the Orlando Magic, getting up a career-high 12 triples. Five of those shots from deep found the bottom of the net, helping to lead to a 22-point performance for the sharpshooter across another 40-plus-minute outing. Without Kyle Lowry in the mix, Vanvleet is likely to continue seeing an enormous workload on a nightly basis, as he also set a career-high in steals with seven, while adding in five rebounds and four assists. He gets a difficult matchup versus Utah on Sunday, although his usage makes him a must-play in any sized season-long format.--Jesse Borek
