6 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred Vanvleet got the starting nod with Kawhi Leonard (rest) sitting this one out and he provided a decent line to help get his club the win. VanVleet recorded 11 points on 5-for-11 shooting with a make from deep and also dished out six assists with a rebound in 36 minutes. Leonard sat out the second night of the back-to-back and Coach Nick Nurse hinted that these rest days might be coming to end very soon for him. Either way, VanVleet still holds value in deeper leagues and looks to be turning the corner after a slow start to the season.--Gianni Costantiello
