Fred VanVleet Will Suit Up For Monday’s Contest
3 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet (groin) has been cleared to play in Monday's game against Portland. VanVleet returns after a one-game absence due to a groin ailment, coming off a scintillating 32-point effort Thursday. At 38.6 minutes played per game, VanVleet is the league's ironman at this stage, with much of Toronto's offensive rhythm flowing through him. Goran Dragic bumped into the starting five during VanVleet's brief absence, but his DFS value stands to swing back to its limited upside. The matchup is particularly tantalizing for VanVleet, as Portland has allowed the opposition to knock down threes at a 38 percent clip, the fourth-highest mark in the league.
