2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the team's 4-3, 10-inning win over the Chicago Cubs on Friday. The 32-year-old is in the midst of yet another strong offensive season. He owns a .297/.377/.480 slash line on the year to go along with 10 home runs, seven stolen bases, 50 RBI and 53 runs. The only real disappointment thus far has been his home run total. He's been unlucky in that regard as he has a 11.1% HR/FB rate on the year, down from 19.3% last year. The majority of his underlying power metrics are right where they have been in previous years so we should see that home run total go up as his HR/FB rate begins to normalize.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
