Furkan Korkmaz Goes Scoreless After Sudden Hot Streak
5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz put up a goose egg in Tuesday's 110-103 win over the Clippers after a two-game stretch that saw him pour in 65 points off the bench. For those who picked up Korkmaz, it was extra disappointing to see the 22-year-old go scoreless, especially when he was in the starting lineup. The final stat line for the 2016 draft pick was zero points, one rebound and one steal on 0-for-5 shooting from the field and 0-for-4 shooting from long distance in a total 23 minutes of play. It can only go up from here for the shooting guard, but consistency remains a key issue. The 76ers will now enter the All-Star break, and Korkmaz's chance to redeem himself will come on Feb. 20 against the Nets.
