Garrison Mathews Will Suit Up For Tuesday’s Game
3 years agoHouston Rockets small forward Garrison Mathews (ankle) has been cleared to take the floor for Tuesday's contest against the Clippers despite battling a sprained left ankle. Mathews enters play having knocked down multiple triples in four straight outings, a streak that he will likely have a decent chance at extending with Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) ruled out Tuesday. Mathews averaged 11.7 PPG across 10 February contests, with his role among the second unit safe for the time being. He faces a stingy matchup in LA, which ranks in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency, made three-point field goals (11.6), and opponents' three-point percentage (33.8%) this season.
