6 years agoDenver Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris will miss his third straight game Monday versus the Detroit Pistons due to a right adductor strain. Malik Beasley has started in his place during the previous two contests and shown a propensity for high-volume scoring, putting him on owners’ radar while Harris remains out. Harris figures to regain his starting spot upon his return, but he has struggled to find consistency this season with his scoring average down to 14.8 points per game and Denver boasting a crowded backcourt. His next chance to return comes Wednesday against Brooklyn.--Jesse Borek
