3 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II (hernia) practiced on Saturday and will be available to play during the upcoming preseason outing against the Lakers. The 28-year-old has been working his way back from an inguinal hernia, so his availability for the exhibition in L.A. is good news concerning his chances of making the team. Still, even if Payton does make the active roster, he doesn't have much appeal from a fantasy standpoint, primarily with the Warriors' depth at every position. However, regarding his immediate future, he could get some meaningful work against Los Angeles on Tuesday night and should at least be considered an option for DFS contests.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
