Gary Trent Jr. Not Playing Against Pistons
3 years agoToronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. This marks the third game in a row that Trent has missed due to right ankle swelling. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried as the Raptors are likely just being overly cautious. Svi Mykhailiuk should see more playing time, but isn't a favorable streaming option. Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam will be asked to pick up the slack, so both could be possible DFS options. Scottie Barnes (knee) remains a game-time decision, but his absence would only increase the usage of Vanvleet and Siakam.
