4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. (calf) is being listed as questionable to play in Wednesday's game versus the Clippers due to a strained right calf. Trent is on the heels of having delivered a massive 28-point eruption off the bench Monday against the Lakers, in which he knocked down seven threes. But with Carmelo Anthony (COVID-19 protocols) expected to rejoin the second unit Wednesday, even if Trent suits up, he's likely facing a diminished offensive role. Relying primarily on his three-point marksmanship, Trent's production through three games has been all over the map, an indication of his nightly volatility as a fantasy commodity.
