5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. will miss Monday’s contest versus the Chicago Bulls due to a right hamstring strain. Trent has seen his role in the Portland rotation fluctuate over the last week, drawing his first start of the season, in addition to playing fewer than eight minutes in three other contests. Despite his limited role, the second-year guard has knocked down a shot from deep in seven consecutive games. His next chance at returning to the floor comes Wednesday against Oklahoma City.--Jesse Borek
