Gary Trent Jr. Will Suit Up For Game 3, Expected To Start
3 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard/small forward Gary Trent Jr. (illness) will join the mix for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia, although how much he is able to play remains up in the air as he continues to battle an illness. Trent has started each of the first two contests, but he has combined to shoot 2-for-14 overall, with his only makes coming from behind the three-point line. Any kind of minutes cap for Trent paves the way for OG Anunoby to see an elevated role, while Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam would take on even larger offensive duties. Trent knocked down at least four triples in three of four regular-season meetings with the 76ers, as the spacing he provides on offense has been vitally missed thus far. He will be something of a wild card DFS selection due to his murky minutes cap, yet high ceiling of production.
