6 years agoIn what is his third consecutive appearance at the Tour Championship, Gary Woodland heads to Atlanta sitting 28th in the FedEx Cup standings. Woodland sits sixth in strokes gained approaching the green and eight in ball striking over his previous 12 rounds. However, should the American hope to contend this week, he will need to improve his play around the greens. Over his last 12 rounds, Woodland sits 29th for strokes gained around the greens. Woodland has finished in the top-10 in two of his previous three trips to East Lake. --Gianni
