3 years agoIf anyone in the field knows Torrey Pines, it's Gary Woodland. Woodland will be making his 13th career start at Torrey Pines, and he hasn't missed a Farmers Insurance Open cut since 2010. What might be more incredible than Woodland making 13 starts at Torrey is the fact he has made 12 cuts. Woodland has only missed one cut at Torrey Pines, and that was last year. From 2016-2019, Woodland finished no worse than 20th at Torrey Pines, recording a best finish of ninth in 2019. Woodland isn't having a great 2021 season, but he has made three of his last four cuts, including two top-15 finishes in that span. He won't struggle with distance this week, as he averages well over 300 yards off the tee, so Woodland is worth considering this week in all contests.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
