Gary Woodland Looks To Defend At Winged Foot
4 years agoGary Woodland won his first major championship at the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and will look to defend this year at Winged Foot. Woodland has struggled to find his game a bit over the past couple months, with zero top-20 finishes over his last five starts of the 2019-2020 season. He was fairly average in most key metrics but ranked 10th in strokes gained approaching the green and 38th in strokes gained putting. Those two metrics will be key this week at a very difficult Winged Foot course. He comes into the week with a DFS price of $7,800, which is a bit of a bargain for a defending champion.
