Gary Woodland Turns A Poor Start Into A Solid Week
7 years agoGary Woodland recovered from a dismal opening-round 79 at last week's U.S. Open to make the cut on the number and eventually finish T36. Woodland was fifth in the field for strokes gained off the tee and third in driving distance. It is Woodland’s second made cut in succession, and the American will be feeling much better as he sees his game turn around from an earlier slump in form. Woodland will not be playing the Travelers Championship this week at TPC River Highlands.
