3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer drove in the only run for his club on Friday as his team fell 7-1 at the hands of the Rays. Springer's single to center in the third cashed in Bo Bichette for the first run of the ball game as he finished the game going 1-for-3 with a walk. After missing nearly the first two months of the season, the 30-year-old hasn't quite got his swing into midseason form with a .219 BA on the year, but there's optimism in his 21/13 K/BB. Springer has still managed to produce five homers, 10 runs, and 11 RBI in 17 games, so managers should remain confident that his bat will play at a high level the rest of the way.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
