Georges Niang Logs Practice Session Tuesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers power forward Georges Niang (knee) was able to suit up for Tuesday's practice, a positive step in the right direction in his return from left knee tendinopathy. Niang missed the final two games of the regular season due to the ailment, but head coach Doc Rivers noted Tuesday that the team was being cautious with one of its premier reserve players. Niang set career highs in 2021-22 with 9.2 points and 2.1 made triples on a nightly basis during the regular season, emerging as a key contributor in the frontcourt. He will have until Saturday to heal up when the Sixers take on the Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
