7 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Gerald Green logged over 25 minutes for the fifth time in last six games on Friday, scoring 16 points in 28 minutes against the Nuggets. He shot the three-ball well, going 4-for-9 with his treys, but overall, it wasn't a very effective scoring output, as he shot 5-for-14. Trevor Ariza (hamstring) is still out and Eric Gordon (back) has missed a few games lately, so Green is getting some decent burn. He doesn't do much else besides scoring, but he's very dangerous from deep and could show it again on Sunday against the Mavs, a team that has allowed opponents shoot 36.7 percent from behind the arc this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
