Gerald Green Quiet In Win Over Minnesota
7 years agoHouston Rockets guard/forward Gerald Green was quiet during Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Green played 20 minutes in Game 1 as a result of the absence of forward Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder), but wasn’t able to take advantage, scoring only four points on the night. He did manage to come away with seven boards, but his lack of offensive production put a damper on those looking to capitalize on his bargain price in DFS contests. With Rockets’ head coach Mike D’Antoni likely to continue to give extra minutes to forward P.J. Tucker as a result of his defensive prowess, Green may see even less minutes in Game 2, especially if forward Ryan Anderson (ankle) is able to suit up.
