3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez (thumb) completed a bullpen session on Saturday. According to Rockies beat writer Patrick Saunders, Marquez said his right thumb felt fine after the session. Marquez developed a cut on his right thumb about a week ago. He attempted to pitch through the ailment on Wednesday, but struggled in the outing and had to be removed in the fourth inning. Based on his successful bullpen session Saturday, it seems likely he'll be good to go for his next start on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
