2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided an update on star outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (Achilles) on Wednesday. Boone stated that he's hoping that Stanton will begin a rehab assignment this weekend. If things go smoothly on that front, Stanton could be back in the majors at some point next week. The 32-year-old has been out since July 23 due to soreness in his left Achilles tendon.
