Giannis Antetokounmpo Downgraded To Out On Friday
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Friday's bout against the Celtics. The Freak was initially listed as probable throughout the day, but it now appears as if the right ankle sprain he sustained against the Knicks on Wednesday night is worse than originally thought. His next chance to suit up will come on Sunday against Atlanta. With Khris Middleton (COVID-19) and Brook Lopez (back) also not in the lineup against Boston, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, and Grayson Allen are the favorites to benefit on the offensive end. Additionally, George Hill and Thanasis Antetokounmpo both have upside in DFS GPP formats, although they are risky options.
