Giannis Antetokounmpo Drops 33 Points, Logs Double-Double
5 years agoMilwaukee Bucks small/power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo accrued a double-double well ahead of halftime during Thursday’s victory over the Detroit Pistons. The second half of the year opened with another enormous stat line from the league’s reigning MVP, who finished with 33 points on 13-for-23 shooting, adding 16 rebounds, four assists and three steals on a night in which Milwaukee outscored Detroit by 39 points with Antetokounmpo on the court. The Bucks’ franchise cornerstone has emerged as the MVP favorite yet again and his nightly production remains staggering in season-long formats. He next faces a 76ers defense Saturday that has limited the opposition to the fewest DFS points per game overall this season, which could allow owners to fade him at his likely gaudy price tag.
