5 years agoMilwaukee Bucks small/power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo rejoined his squad for Monday’s win over the Chicago Bulls following a two-game stint on the sidelines. He picked up right where he left off previously, notching a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds to his credit. Despite recording his 29th double-double in just 32 games, Antetokounmpo actually performed below his season averages across his 27 minutes. The nature of Milwaukee’s win capped his minutes late as the combination of his back soreness and the organization’s caution likely contributed to his slightly downturned production. He next squares off with Minnesota on New Years Day, having logged a massive 34-point, 15-rebound in his last meeting with the team back on Nov. 4.--Jesse Borek
