6 years agoThe San Francisco Giants will rest first baseman Brandon Belt on Tuesday. Belt has struggled lately and has just seven hits over his last 38 at-bats. Belt will be replaced at first base by outfielder Austin Slater. Slater will bat fifth and is hitting .172 over his last 29 at-bats and can be avoided versus Mets starter Steven Matz on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
