2 years agoNew York Yankees infielder Gleyber Torres (ankle) turned his ankle while trying to return to third base on Sunday against the Houston Astros, and manager Aaron Boone said Torres' injury is a "mild ankle sprain." "He caught his spike and kind of rolled it over there at third," Boone said. "I'm hoping it scared him more than anything. We'll see what we have overnight and [Monday], but I don't expect it to be serious." Fantasy managers should consider the 25-year-old day-to-day for now, but don't be surprised if he's not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Oakland Athletics. While Torres is hitting a mediocre .250 on the season, he's made some adjustments in 2022 and has 13 home runs, 32 RBI and four stolen bases in 67 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
