4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres is expected to rejoin the lineup either Saturday or Sunday against the Orioles. Torres has been out since Aug. 21 due to a strained hamstring that he sustained while running down the first-base line. Prior to his injury, his bat had been heating up, having gone 9-for-22 with a .500 on-base percentage over his last seven games. Despite his alarming lack of power (three extra-base hits in 24 games), Torres will retain considerable season-long and DFS appeal upon his activation, especially versus Baltimore, whom he slugged 13 homers against last year.--Jesse Borek
