4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres (hamstring, quad) is expected to get some rehab games in at the team’s alternate site over the next few days, making his return to the MLB lineup likely to come sometime towards the end of next week. Torres had been heating up after a slow start to the season with a .956 OPS over his last eight games, but the 23-year-old has been sidelined since August 20 with hamstring and quad strains. Fantasy players should expect Torres to post an OPS above .820 for the rest of the season after the shortstop posted an impressive .871 mark last season, and he should be counted on in fantasy leagues as the playoffs approach.--Sam Chinitz
