Gleyber Torres Not In Lineup Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees middle infielder Gleyber Torres (ankle) is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Oakland Athletics. Torres will take a seat after suffering a mild ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Houston Astros. There's a chance that he misses Tuesday's game as well, but the Yankees are confident that his injury isn't very serious. The 25-year-old Venezuelan is hitting just .250, but he's been more productive at the plate this year with 13 home runs, 32 RBI, 33 runs scored and four stolen bases in 228 at-bats so far for the Yanks. DJ LeMahieu is starting at the keystone and is hitting leadoff on Monday against A's right-hander Paul Blackburn. LeMahieu will be a fine DFS target on Monday in the leadoff spot.
