4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres went 3-for-4 with four RBI and a pair of runs scored in Saturday's 7-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Torres got the scoring started for the Yankees in the bottom of the fourth with a two-run double to deep center. He helped tack onto the lead with a nice piece of hitting in the fifth inning, slowing his bat down to meet a Matt Foster breaking ball and sending it into left field for a two-run single. Torres is currently riding a four-game hitting streak since returning from the COVID-19 injured list- and has been enjoying an excellent month of May. He's batting .340 with two home runs, 12 RBI, and seven runs scored in May and is starting to look like the player fantasy managers thought they drafted.--Tim Capurso
