4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres was not among the starting nine for the club's contest Saturday versus Miami and left-hander Trevor Rogers. Tyler Wade will enter the lineup and hold down the shortstop spot, batting ninth. After having begun to find his groove offensive during mid-September, Torres has gone 0-for-10 over his last three games. With a playoff spot already secured, New York has little reason to continue running players out over the final two games of the year, but fantasy managers can expect Torres back in the lineup Sunday for the season-finale against Jose Urena.--Jesse Borek
