2 years agoNew York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres (illness) is back at second base and is hitting fifth on Tuesday against Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Corey Kluber. Torres was scratched from the lineup on Sunday due to a stomach illness, but he's back in there after the day off on Monday. The 25-year-old is hitting fewer ground balls this year and is making better contact at the plate, which has led to 12 home runs, 28 RBI, 23 runs scored and a stolen base with a slash line of .253/.299/.495 in 202 plate appearances over 54 games played.
