Gleyber Torres Stays Hot On Thursday
4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and his second home run of the postseason against the Rays on Thursday, giving the 23-year-old a 1.009 OPS through six postseason games this year. Lower body injuries and a slow start to the regular season left Torres with a middling .724 OPS for the regular season, but he’d gotten back into a groove in September with a .842 OPS for the month and an upwards-trending xwOBA, and fantasy managers should expect Torres to maintain an OPS above .850 for the rest of the postseason as a result.
