7 years agoMiami Heat guard Goran Dragic played well against the youthful Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. With Dwyane Wade (hamstring) and center Hassan Whiteside (hip) both out nursing their respective injuries, Dragic was ready to take on an additional workload. The All-Star contributed 30 points on 10-for-18 shooting from the field and an efficient 4-for-7 from downtown. Dragic continues to play well during the absences of both Wade and Whiteside, averaging 24 points and shooting 58 percent from behind the arc over the past four games. He also gains a usage percentage increase of 1.8 percent in addition to increases in both his offensive and defensive ratings. He will have a favorable matchup on Monday against the Denver Nuggets, a team that has struggled on the defensive end this season, averaging a team defensive efficiency of 108.6. However, with a projected pace of 99.5 between the two clubs, some may opt to pass over him in DFS contests in favor of a game that features a much faster pace.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
